&#60;p&#62;Some Scottish and English (and other) cyclists did quite well. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;There's a lot of talk about bringing back competitive sports (compulsorily in England it seems).&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Dave Morris had a &#60;a href=&#34;http://citycyclingedinburgh.info/bbpress/topic.php?id=8059#post-81049&#34;&#62;letter in the Sunday Herald yesterday&#60;/a&#62;; extract -&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;&#34;It is obvious that Scotland will not become an active nation until, once again, most of our children can walk or cycle to school in safety.&#34;&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Edinburgh school pupils go back on Wednesday. More motor traffic expected.
