However I didn't attend the last one I saw advertised as it was a 'drive to a railway path on the other side of the city for a safe family ride' type event. I'd say it was up to the parent to decide if their kid can take the pace (and have a plan to bail out if necessary). Just normal rides. Am I alone in this? </p> <p>Luckily I'm not actually keen on organised rides, and quite happy to do my own thing. But would like to at least try a group ride and see what it was like, rather than being ghettoised. </p>
