Look at <a href="http://bicycledutch.wordpress.com/2012/08/23/spectacular-new-floating-cycle-roundabout/">this spectacular <em>dedicated cycle roundabout</em></a> floating over a major road junction on the outskirts of the city.</p> <p>Edinburgh could do with a few of these: at the Gogarburn end of the bypass for starters. Then there's the M9/A8 junction at Ratho... </p>
