We couldn't have done it without you. I didn't imagine you would have clocked up quite so many miles cycling round our bus. </p> <p>The overall feedback from the adults and teenagers sitting in the bus drivers seat was they had no idea how large the "blind Spots" on the near side of the bus are. </p> <p>I certainly spoke to quite a few people who said they had regularly cycled up the inside of buses in the past. Thankfully after our demonstration I am convinced we have opened many peoples eyes and changed their behaviours whether it be a cyclist, motorist or pedestrian.</p> <p>Personally the next time I organise a similiar event I think I would use yellow reflective tape to mark on the ground the large blind spot areas. The chalk marking was OK but not as visible as perhaps tape would have been. Turns out a fair percentage of the population are genuinely surprised that blindspots exist for buses.
