<p>Nice pair of 531 chromed forks on fleaBay <a href="http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Retro-forks-chromed-531-/180986093880?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&amp;hash=item2a239ca138">here</a>.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Cycling-/7294/i.html?Component%2520Type=Forks&amp;_sop=15&amp;_nkw=steel+forks&amp;_dmpt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&amp;Component%2520Sub%252DType=Rigid%2520Fork&amp;rt=nc">A plethora of 'steel forks'</a>, some of which may be suitable. My fave is <a href="http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/27-or-700c-RACING-BIKE-FORK-25-4mm-CHROME-255mm-LONG-STEERER-CHROME-F107-/180991985299?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&amp;hash=item2a23f68693">this steel chromed number with plenty of steerer</a>. (Also a <a href="http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/27-or-700c-RACING-BIKE-FORK-25-4mm-CHROME-255mm-LONG-STEERER-CHROME-F107-/280990728213?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&amp;hash=item416c5a4015">Buy It Now option</a>)</p>
<p>Otherwise maybe just look for a frame and use the forks, sell on the rest? A fair number of <a href="http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Cycling-/7294/i.html?_sop=15&amp;_nkw=531+frame">531 ones around</a>, other steels are available.

<p>I need to replace a damaged (as in seriously bent out of shape) steel fork.</p>
<p>It is of the old fashioned type with a proper lugged crown and legs that curve forwards towards the axle, giving a rake of approx 45mm. 1" threaded steerer tube, mudguard bosses and fork crown brake mount required. Standard threading and crown-race sizes.</p>
<p>Does anyone know where I can order one? There's very little online, even ebay. I have the dimensions measured for the steerer tube (min 180mm total steerer height, threads must start no more than 150mmish from the crown race.</p>
<p>And yes I've been round and measured every old fork the Bike Station had to offer and nothing is suitable.
