Apparently one of the main airbag injuries is among 'experienced' drivers (beginners don't do it!) who are crossing their hands on the wheel during a turn - they end up breaking their teeth and nose using their own broken arms. All I did was write an e-mail to the taxi firm (the logos were plastered all over the cab) and the licencing department. </p> <p>The cab firm got back to me very promptly. The taxi driver responded to my complaint with a load of lies which I calmly pointed out to be utter tosh (again by e-mail) and the Taxi firm accepted my word. I've reported dangerous/threatening taxi drivers a few times (e.g. punishment passing, and bumping the back wheel of Lyndsey's bike while she was waiting at a red light, and once when one got out possibly to punch me - I cycled off), and each time after they're "interviewed" they tell a different story "I was getting out to investigate what a noise was and didn't see the cyclist you're referring too" - i.e. barefaced lies. Did you have photographic evidence or similar? Or did you take it via the police?
