Did a cross-Pennine mini-tour this weekend. Chorley to Bingley and back, stopping over in the Premier Inn in Bingley. Sunday morning was sunny but proper chilly and we went over a couple of passes at 1300ft+. Could spot the "noobs" among the other riders on the road straight away from the lack of tights or knee warmers.

Get a bit closer and sure enough that's a shiny new Trek or Spesh he's riding.

Recipe for knee problems. Don't do it folks.

Or just wear a couple of pairs of tights.

Keep your knees warm. Your knee joints have Synovial Fluid Lubricant and, as any engineer will tell you, lubricants work best warm.
