It's made out of mesh rather than solid fabric, so is lightweight and breathable. The stripes are solid. Cut the shape out the sheet, remove the sheet covering the sticky side. Apply to fabric. Cool iron. Remove the sheet covering the reflective side. Works on my touring bike rack anyway. Just use a decent thickness of tie that won't wear out easily or go brittle and snap. </p>
