With Hearts, this issue has been precipitated by an unpaid tax bill, but the biggest creditor by a large margin is Romanov's company Ukio Bankas. So if the company goes into administration they will be able to put a CVA (Company Voluntary Arrangement) in place to clear the debts at x pence in the pound, and HMRC will have to accept it. Will be interesting to see what happens to the stadium and, should it get sold, where the revenue from that sale ends up. It's certainly more than a PLC, the players or even the collective fans.
