POP was the massive success it was thanks in huge part to the folk on here who got so involved and put in masses of amounts of time to spread the word. We'll need your support again - but more importantly we need people to get involved in the core organising team, both from within Edinburgh and further afield. </p> <p>So this is partly an announcement and partly a call to the pub ... On Tuesday it's the Cycling Scotland Conference near Haymarket and a number of us will be there. The plan is to meet up casually afterwards, hopefully all fired up, to discuss the next steps for POP2. We'd welcome anyone who wants to to come along but particularly people who'd be interested in helping out. If we're aiming for the second weekend in May for POP2, then it will be almost exactly 6 months away. Hopefully that will give us time to get something organised that nobody can ignore.</p> <p>The suggestion at the moment is to meet at the Haymarket bar (unless anyone has a better place that is handy for the station - or a reason why not) early in the evening (we'll probably be there from about 5pm onwards).
