Have four of them upstairs at the moment. One will walk, three will go a short distance in a car because of this. Must be a big factor in car use for short journeys? I think what people really do is make themselves late so that they have the excuse of being in a hurry so that they "need" to speed. We're both overtaken by an Astravan at speed. Lights red ahead (to his credit he's not in he ASL). Window is down, "That was a bit stupid," I declare. He leans out the window and shouts (non-aggressively actually) "Aye but ah'm in a hurry!" </p>
