It was basically easier to use, especially where there's only a drainpipe to lock to.</p> <p>Last night the damned thing wouldn't open. It has, once, changed the number without me doing anything, but fortunately I noticed that and spotted what had changed. I <em>think</em> that's what happened again. But there was no way I could work out the number. So there was a call home for delivery of (chdot's) bolt cutters.</p> <p>Positive of the experience:<br /> A security guard from my work came round to check my ID (after presumably seeing me on CCTV).</p> <p>Negative of the experience:<br /> It took roughly 7 seconds to get through a cable that, allegedly, was rated 7 out of Masterlock's scale of 10; and obivoulsy I now don't have the lock. </p> <p>Found the key to my old chain, so that's nae bother (can't find the key to my old D-Lock).</p> <p>Boooo to Masterlock! </p>
