Anecdote. I have a folder on my computer labelled Bike Porn and my sister found it recently. When I got home she said, almost with regret, that she knew without opening it that the title didn't mean it was filled with pictures of naked women on or near bikes.

It's my birthday today. I've been given a book called 'The Custom Road Bike' (http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1856698130). The 'See Inside this book' gives a good idea of the style.

This is bicycle fetishism of the highest order. It's full of close-ups of intimate parts of the bicycle, artfully lit and arranged for your viewing pleasure.

It's probably more a book for people who like looking at the pictures rather than actually doing anything, but it is rather splendid.

If there is a significant other in your life who likes bicycle pornography (for that, I am afraid to say, is really what this book is about), then this might be something for their present list. Failing that, you might have to buy it for yourself.
