I've found a BBC article about the same report in 2011. In that transport costs were about £64 a week; ALL food and non-alcoholic drinks were £53.</p> <p>Now for transport costs to be a third higher than that spent on fruit and veg the fruit and veg costs would be over £40, meaning that only just over £10 is spent on all the rest of the food and non-alcoholic drinks for the week.</p> <p>Obviously those are figures for 2010... But it does seem to offer a skewed fruit and veg spend on that basis!
