Looks like they added a few things, as I don't remember anything about adjusting bearings at all. It was quite good and got me started in my fettling career.</p> <p>I also did the wheel building course in 2001. You had to bring your own parts or buy them from the shop. I built a pair of Mavic F519s on Hope hubs. They lasted 5 years of my cack-handed mountain biking without anything breaking of needing more than a quite true once. Until they were nicked.</p> <p>I highly recommend the wheel builing course. Very technical and informative. Does anyone adjust hub bearings anymore… apart from me? Even then I haven't adjusted a BB for 15 years or more. </p> <p>Gear adjustment might not include SA hubs but then they are fairly easy to adjust if you remember which hub you have.
