Now you've answered your own question, can I hijack the thread to ask if anyone can recommend a waterproof/shockproof case for an iPhone 5?

It's purely for protecting the thing whilst it's in my pocket on rides - I don't need to be able to use the phone while it's in the case, so no need for holes for the camera or access to the screen...

Something relatively compact would be good so that it fits in my jersey pocket.

Answering my own question, I got one of these http://www.londoncyclist.co.uk/tigra-iphone-5-bike-mount/ from them. Quick delivery and best price I could find. Mount is really solid and waterproof, which is ideal as I am moving from a two mile each way commute to a five mile one which includes Leith Walk. Music is slightly muffled but not too bad. Not tried the satnav yet, but screen reacts well in Runkeeper Pro.

Anyone got a recommendation for a bike mount for my new iPhone 5? Have been using a mount for my 3GS for 18 months, but that was an old phone that I didnt mind getting a wee bit wet on occasion, so this time I need a cover but able to hear the speakers for GPS and music.
