It's been seized for, hmm, don't actually know?</p> <p>I tried to use it last Saturday, so I know it has been seized since at least then, and I last used the front mech probably in the second week in January. I've very much against removing trees most of the time but it's really the only practical option in this case. The roots would almost certainly push up any resurfaced areas in time and we'd be back to square one. Hopefully the same number (or more) of trees will be planted elsewhere to compensate.</p> <p>Frankly, I think this was a far more important section to fix than the previous one as it is not only inconvenient narrow and bumpy but not good for narrow wheel rims. It's fine in daylight but I can see that catching some cyclists out when it's dark, especially with the oncoming car lights.</p> <p>2) The undergrowth heading south/east, after the new work, is as bad as ever.
