The book *will* be available after the Kickstarter campaign but no doubt with changes and revisions and so on. It will be available as 'print on demand' on Amazon.com so probably more expensive than the Kickstarter version. I won't be doing a big print run and storing some books for sale afterwards. The first edition will be a genuine first edition and genuinely limited.</p> <p>Some of the extra cash will go on design improvements for the book. I even registered loveasphalt.com but, relatively quickly, realised that was a crap title. I was out on my bike one day and the roads were crowded with the johnny-come-latelies of highway history and I thought 'but roads were not built for cars...'</p> <p>I changed the title and the whole focus of the book changed. As I can't devote all my time to the book it's taken a long time to research and write.
