Rather than lack of interested people, it probably comes down to cost of running a trip like that, and the consequent cost of tickets that are easily as much as a concert ticket.</p> <p>When I was at The Greatest Gathering, down in Derby, the level of interest from people was absolutely enormous. Even the queue to get in was over half a mile long, and you had to have already bought your ticket, assuming you were able to buy one; they sold out both in the first round and the second. My ticket was £30 which isn't much in the grand scheme of things but the travel and hotel costs almost made me reconsider; I wondered how many other people did.
