With these events you become aware of all the imbalances between comparing 'modes of transport'.<br /> Ideally we would have had more female participants. Only three out of sixteen. No ethnic variety.<br /> Chdot is going to post times or pic of boards. </p> <p>Result 'proves' (unfortunately) that driving hasn't been disadvantaged particularly - although this was pre-rush hour. Public transport has changed but still slow. Lack of 'zone card' for Edinburgh is long overdue.</p> <p>Was very pleased that we had Lauren with her s/h 3 speed Pashley. She used train to take her bike out to Newcraighall too. Point here is that she arrived in her normal clothes just as if she had walked.<br /> Is speed of commute everything?</p> <p>Thanks to the City Car Club and Baldycyclist we were using electric and hybrid vehicles. Debate on these will go on.
