If we go out to the Pentlands and the reservours we head up the Water of Leith path past Murrayfield. We used to cycle to Baird Drive cross the bridge over the river to the west side of the river and then take the west WoL path and continue along under the railway bridge to the ped crossing at Saughton Park on Balgreen Road.</p> <p>I have heard the path under the railway bridge, along the river is open/closed/open on the east side/closed on the east side/open but we have to cross the new wodden bridge and come back.....</p> <p>Can someone tell me if either path which runs along the river/Murrayfield boundary is open or closed please? Are there any diversions over any bridges over the river or do we still have to come off the path at Baird Drive and cycle up Baird Drive to Balgreen Road before turning left and passing the school and then crossing to Saughton park path?</p> <p>Thanks.</p> <p>Dave C </p>
