There is an attempt to introduce cycle lanes in Bedford, some good quiet roads but some very busy connections to get to them and some really bad drivers. We drive for six hours to get there but max concentration needed just as you come to the end of the route at this and a couple of other roundabouts. Also seen some far out cycling. This is one option Bedford Borough Council is to apply Dutch experience to improve cycle safety at a busy roundabout in the town. </p>
