I go past that a couple of days a week, not sure if its anything to do with the school but its pretty tight round there and some people do battle along as though they were on the road. Generally reminds me to take it a bit easier.
I genuinely feel people should go slower on shared paths like the canal and the Roseburn path.

@chdot - it probably is, try emailing the head teacher
Viv.Donaldson@roseburn.edin.sch.uk, see if there could be a wee tie in with spokes etc and get a wee cycle proficiency class run at the school?@steveo - hear hear, on corners and bridges on the canal I slow down by default, same with narrow shared paths like that one at Roseburn
