See as there is an election coming, maybe we should suggest a few things which we would like to see in party manifestos. To get the ball rolling here are a few of my suggestions:
- Strict Liability for road users
- scrapping VED (aka road tax) and instead increasing the tax on fuel instead
- a tax on car parking spaces, rebates could be give for organisations which convert car parking spaces to secure cycle parking
- Revenue raised from the above suggestions to be use to fund carbon neutral transport solutions
Any other ideas?
