HanKChief doing brilliantly to restrain himself from calling PG's campaign a pack of lies. Well done.

Adam seems to be talking about an unknown Option C!

I can't figure out what Cllr McVey's question is either.

His initial point that Sustrans marked down the scheme in the recent funding award due to the NIMBY hysteria is pretty worrying though - i.e. why fund 'B' because it's crap, but why fund 'A' because it's unpopular.

That's the rabbit to come out of the hat when we reach item 7.5, well after the deputations.

Lesley saying "important to move forward" to get 'whole route - not just argue about Roseburn'

Which is fine but CEC 'invented' the options of A and B - but seem to 'blaming' both sides for the polarising!

'Tesco and Scotmid get their own loading bays but small traders don't'

That's because the picture framer doesn't need an HGV, Peter

    PG

"As far as I can see parking and load cut by half"

"Only Co-op and Tesco have dedicated loading"

*Doesn't like cycling down Roseburn Terrace - it's "big and noisy".*

*Argues against a segregated cycle lane.*

    I'm done.

Quite glad I got asked the follow up questions as it allowed me to fit in the stuff I didn't manage in my pitch.

PG's buddy now making a deputation on behalf of Heart of Midlothian FC and ScotRail Ltd.

No actual swept path analysis being used, just rectangles in awkward places on the road.

Other speaker talking about difficulty of getting rail carriages to Haymarket Depot if Option A widens pavements.

    "Can anyone see the rabbit?"

    "1. Recommendations
    ...
1.1.2 selects one of the two options presented for the Roseburn area along with the amended designs for other parts of the route..."

Is that a binding recommendation or do they get to do what they want, convenors permitting?

Did ScotRail or any coach operators object? No. The new depot at Millerhill for the electric train fleet should sort any concerns about access to Haymarket.

Are Edinburgh pensioners uniquely frail or stupid? Floating bus stops work lots of other places.

WTF? If you might miss a bus you fall over? This is embarrassing.

Simply lies about police, fire and ambulance access.

PG reveals his true cause: he doesn't want cycles on the road at all. Load them on to buses instead!

"impossible to see" how the fire service could cope with these "severe changes" according to PG.

Did they not respond to the consultation? Did they only respond to PG personally?

Can't watch at work, is he just spouting nonsense in the hope something will resonate with enough people to swing it?
