You know my rules. No shooting at the inedible. No way I'd have popped a cap in its Malpighian tubules. My host wouldn't have stood for it and there were no cartridges in the house any road.

OK, to return to the topic for once, I am currently in the process of digging out a bit of the garden with a population of stripey snails. Would it be of any use if I photographed them as clearly as I could & sent them to you @Sheeptoucher? Would you need any other information like what habitat they are in?
