@spytfyre, I heard Lezyne were doing good ones with battery pack for about £50 from guy that did the 240 miles with Mark Beauumont. Where? On-line I am guessing. I had lent him my lezyne rechARGEABLE 1500xxl SUPER DRIVE also 50 quid Evans on line. Only lasted 2 hours on full blast also full blast not 1500 lumnens but certainly lit up the beeftub when I was out that way with @acsimpson. Does have settings that do not burn retinas. Evans in p[ickle just now so maybe bargains there?

A friend in Porty is selling his...

    Tiffosi CK1, like this one:

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tifosi-CK1-Tempo-Veloce-Cyclocross-Bike-/192717952008

Mine is a 54cm /medium frame. It currently has road tyres on it and I use it as a road bike, but I also have the cyclo-cross tyres which it came with. I've had it for maybe four years and I've done the Etape Calendonia a couple of times and been out with Portovelo many times. I'm only really selling as I've realised that I don't really fit a medium bike (I'm 186cm) so I'm looking to change to a large or extra large.

It gets good reviews online. If you're interested then you're welcome to come and take it for a spin. (It has clip-in pedals)

Offers welcome. (Link above provided to give you a ball park for value!) I'll switch to eBay in a few days if I don't get any interest.

Anyone interested in a matching pair of SunnyWheel ceiling-mounted bike lifts?

Bought ages ago from Edinburgh Bike Co-op, but in very good nick, one set of instructions and two sets of big bolts for your ceiling joists are included. No cleats though, as I used to tether them to coat hooks on the wall.

Looks like https://www.amazon.co.uk/Kf-SunnyWheel-Bike-Lift/dp/B00AZYP7QS but the ones I'm tearfully parting with have the full bar between the pulleys. Price tag has £22.95 but I would have bought them in a sale.

From a loving, smoke-free home, etc., yours for the very-economical-in-these-hard-times price of a fiver each. Pick up from Polwarth.

I'd love one but I'm unlikely to be able to collect before Christmas so I'll hover hopefully at the back of the queue.

But I already have a 531 frame in the loft which I've barely played with for thirteen years.

I heard IWRATS is looking for a bike just now.

Just having a clearout of some books & magazines and was wondering whether anyone would like any of the following, before they go to charity/recycling:

    - Richard's Bicycle Book by Richard Ballantine - 1979 edition
    - Richard's 21st Century Bicycle Book, also by Richard Ballantine
    - Cycling Book of Maintenance - this is a slim & old guide (possibly just after WW2) so probably more for perusing value than as an actual maintenance guide. Features plenty of vintage ads for British bicycle and parts manufacturers.
    - c.36 New Cyclist magazines spanning 1988-1993. (actually quite a good magazine).

Let me know if you are interested!

Alpkit 20l Gourdon backpack free to a good home. Fluorescent yellow, and a bit dirty (chain grease mostly). Fantastic bags but I like my much used kelp colour one better and never quite learned to love the bright yellow. Has been to Newfoundland and various other wet places. Unlike the one I use every day this one is still waterproof too.

Reorganising my plastic tubs full of rubbish, I rediscovered a large number of unused V-brake noodles. Anyone desperate for such things, before I Bike Station them?

Actually noodles is one of things I like a supply for fixing kids bikes and other cheap bikes generally, so I’d be interested thanks!

OK. I'll enumerate them and prepare a bagful.
Any other things you need? The useless plastic brackets sold with mini-pumps? The useless brackets for Kryptonite locks? V-brake blocks (black, unused)?

    No to brackets
