Yarp. Thursday's a great day. Harbinger of weekends. Bringer of southerly winds.

if all goes well, I will pop by - probably in the 7.30 - 8pm range - with some POP stuff for those who want it, then go home to collect kids for school run, and then perhaps pop back later for a coffee, if anyone from the late shift is still around.

  21. Argh! Forgot about this completely! Mind you, was running late this morning anyway, though meant I had the fun of riding through a nose-to-tail Melville Drive.

Bah, didn't miss you anyway. :-P

MD was 'nose-to-tail' (ie basically stopped) when i went through around 7.45, and again when I went through approx 8.45.

Why/how do people go that way at all?

Thanks for the lend of the top Min. I think the stretched bumps in the front neatly fitted over my shoulders ;o)

Nice to catch up again with the select few. Dave and I commented on the way to work, afterwards, that its getting like London in Edinburgh at certain times. There were crowds of cyclists at Chambers St and then again at the Tron/High Street. Nice to feel less of a minority.

    Ooh er! :-o

Bit like London - Yes, I have had a couple of occasions recently where there has been a wee crowd in the ASL. And we saw that hipster too of course.

Sorry I don't really do Dog, or any other deity. So I'm afraid that nice quote is completely lost on me....

In case you think I've gone mad, the idea of the select few is a pernicious Christian concept which absolves people of all guilt as long as they are "justified" or born with perfect faith. The KLF wrote a song called "Justified and Ancient" the lyrics of which were brought to mind by your description of the Peter's Yard meet. Sorry, I'll go back to sleep now.
