Could you please take down any POP posters that you see around town? This helps give us a good reputation and makes it more likely that they will stay up next year.
Thanks everyone!
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

Thanks everyone!
I took down all the ones I put up on my way into work this morning, plus a few others near Morningside Station. Nail scissors good for cutting cable ties I find.
Will take down any that I see, yes, to my mind there's only 1 or 2 on my route.
Will take the one at the end of WoL path if still there
I took down the Harrison feeder one in Dalry while I was returning the walkietalkies. Haven't seen any others still up.
Took all the broomhouse path / edin park station down this morning.
Got the harrison gardens ones this morning, the Leam bridge one, the ones at the traffic lights onto the meadows, some around GS. Going to have to start putting them all back up for the BBR :P
Someone had already dePOPulated the Innocent (my part at least) and I did a few at work too.
Thanks guys. Job well done.
I spotted a Harrison park feeder ride one at the playpark. No wonder we had 140+ on that ride - it had its own posters!
well done, that's a gripe of mine post elections and various other events. note to self get more involved next year
If they're still there when I head home, I'll pick up the Crammond Brig ones.
Taken the ones in RBS at the Gyle down and relieved a lamp post on the Hutchison to Slateford Green cycle path of a laminated poster.
Will let Freewheelin' know via Facebook that they still have the poster up in their shop window. I'd have told them in person but I really didn't have the willpower this morning to go in and come out having not spent any money!
Did anyone go out of their way to poster the Craiglockhart/Slateford area? I could hop on my bike to remove since I'm in the area and I can dispatch Mr MeepMeep to Craiglockhart Leisure Centre tonight if there's some there?
I'll check "mine" though might not be before Friday
RJ - if they're the NEPN ones I wouldn't worry. sure they're long gone...
Again, thanks everyone for the help in this. chdot did spot one embarrassingly close to my work, and I then spotted one just a few metres from kaputnik's front door, but I think we're doing a good job!
My ones along warriston should come down today.
Removed 5 between the Shore and Roseburn today, stil one (at least) to go but it was halfway up an off ramp - or half way down an on ramp if you prefer
There are a couple in the poster display box thing outside Sciennes Primary School - I assume they'll have to wait for the person who has the key to the box thing.
Now four fewer on the North Edinburgh path (including from the Ravelston Dykes off-ramp). I confess to some prior knowledge ...
A couple still up on the WoL path along the allotments between Gorgie road and Slateford. Will try to remember to take scissors or pliers next time I'm heading that way.
Another 2 down (Livingstone Place; barrier NMW end of Boroughloch Lane). One still at west end of Rankeillor St will need pliers or snips.
@allebong - thanks: They were mine (and minimoth's) ^_^
"One still at west end of Rankeillor St will need pliers or snips"...
Thin screwdriver worked wonders.
Ones along the WoL I mentioned have been taken down - not by me - but I did remove the remnants of tape and string.
Removed one last night at the entry to Findlay Gardens from the Restalrig path (front door key did for the cable ties). A souvenir...
Heartfelt thanks to everyone for stopping and sorting these. Really appreciate your contribution to tidying up the aftermath!
Found one Tuesday that I'd put up (oops) on the Links!
Ack. Sitting in an exam board right now and just spotted another rogue pop poster out the window!
Don't know which window you were looking out of, but I just took one down on the (inside) corner of GS opposite your building.
PS Should you be on CCE when in an exam board meeting??? :P
Oh crap: Just realised it was the one in the photo at the top of the thread?! Was that there as a memento?
Typical Chdot took a pic of it and left it there!
Took one down last week on the path that links Brown St to Queens Drive.
