Watch out on cycle path near Crewe Toll

Just want to warn people, there were a bunch of lads on the NEPN at the same spot (between Ainslie Park and Crewe Toll), with a football, around 17:15 this evening. I tinged my bell and shouted thanks to them before I passed them in an attempt to dissuade them from doing something daft, but alas it was no use, as they then thumped the football straight into the side of my bike, thankfully not hitting me (just my bike, which survived).
I carried on without reacting because, tbh, there were too many of them, and let's face it, it wouldn't be worth it anyway.
