Onn lunchtime walk I went down Sugarhouse Close, off the Canongait and found some excellent bike hangers, covered shed with space to hang eight bikes, bit like the slow train to glasgow has but with side panel of support for wheel. strangely, the only bike was resting, not hanging as it was missing a front wheel. The steps all had narrow bike chutes up them too. THink it is all student accommodation. Then bimbled round to Scottish Poetry Library at Crichton's Close and took out Nil-Nil by Don Paterson for old times' sake, Paul Muldoon's The Prince of The Quotidian and a Kiwi poet I had never heard of Vincent O'Sullivan, well not him himself but his collection Further Convictions Pending (Felt sorry for it as never been taken out in five years on the shelf, pristine). I used to be fan of australian poet Les Murray, so hopefully the kiwi willhave similar direct style
