Nice set of photos!
Suggestion on Twitter that Union Canal had burst (again), but presumably not so?
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

@chdot "please, don't burst. please, don't burst" was my mantra along the towpath. I didn't see it burst.
Oh dear Lord.
Camping last night near Broxburn would at least have been midge free
@chdot: Suggestion on Twitter that Union Canal had burst (again), but presumably not so?
No mention of such in Scottish Canals' tweets this morning: https://twitter.com/scottishcanals/status/1299255893796827136
@gembo at least one positive about it. He said that there were some mysterious areas around Broxburn and he wanted to check them out.
I see that West Lothian Clarion's have two of their own jersey's to choose from. I wonder if we can get a CCE jersey on there.
I like the skull one I found, you can see it is a skull even in the thumbnail
@bill
Mysterious in Broxburn like UFO stuff?
I managed to break it so my team now don't have a jersey.
Bad omen. @acsimpson
But you at least tried to free style?

“sun is here to stay“
That’s reassuring!

My work's cycle forum is having a session tomorrow on 'cycling in the winter'. Thought I might canvass suggestions? Top tip of course being follow @CyclingEdin 's "severe weather warning" thread which reports ice, gritting, trees down on paths etc
“
Incipient frost on my green bin in EH6.
Ice on the bird bath last night.
"Met Office yellow warning of snow and ice for parts of Scotland, from 18:00 on Wednesday until 12:00 on Thursday." Map suggests Edinburgh just on the edge of this. Report says 'Lothian Borders'.
I'll put the studded rollerball into my mouse.

Scots are preparing for an influx of wintery weather today after forecasters predicted snow and ice across the Lothians in the next two days.

Sunny now
Use it before you lose it
I don't care what the weather man says.
With that sort of attitude you will be invited to join the Rough Stuff Fellowship
I have been given a most excellent book of photos made up from their Kodak Carousel Slides
Albert’s Mouse Sandwich is my favourite caption
It is a very excellent book
Not looking forward to the next two days of commuting. Or in fact the next 3 months.
@bill
Perhaps you could work somewhere else in the winter? Some sort of seasonal contract?
I know the commuting is part of your transformation into the Woman of Steel, but jeezo.
@gembo
My mate was in the Fellowship in the early eighties. Moulton shopper, Lairig Ghru you get the picture. He was quite formative in my life though I never rode with him. In fact the more I think about it the more I realise I may have modelled the IWARTS persona on his.
@IWRATs
In one of life’s Coinkydinky’s your mate shares a name with Bill
Anyone wanting an Xmas present of pictures of men and women shoving bikes up snowy mountains in Scotland, Wales, Cumbria, Italy and Iceland and Norway, sometimes tandems too. Should ask Santa
It is a fabulous thing
@gembo
I always wondered what his name was. So that is indeed a kwincy-danse. Unless you're saying it's the same person? [Insert double Spiderman image here, Admin]
It can't be that cold outside. Someone tucking into a Magnum ice cream has just walked past my house.
I've got a load of washing out on the line today. It might not get entirely dry but it'll mean I don't need the dehumidifier running in my pretend office.
@Arelicat. That's like the inverse to that old hokum about drinking a hot cup of tea in a hot country to keep cool. Does it work? Maybe. Probably more to do with Empire, India/Africa, stiff upper lip, presenting an air of unflappability, etc.
