@DaveC, aye Spa have standard Marathons (almost as good as M+, IME nigh on p******e proof) for only £11 each. £4 delivery.
Even fleaBay can't beat that price at the moment! (£2 dearer overall for a pair including delivery, but more width/size options than Spa: Rutland Cycling)

Picked up a sharp thorn in my rear tyre on the evenings cycle out to the reservoirs. Noticed it was soft when leaving the calley sample rooms and tried to wong it. Pumped at Russell road, Barnton Ave west and on the old A90 half way up the hill to the turn off. Finally gave up and swapped the tube in the entrance to the Dalmeny Estate before continuing on home. 90km today.
