It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

@chdot - I am not clear if they count occupant levels in all cars or just conclude that most are single occupant by anecdote or sample.
The Spokes count page isn't explicit about it, but the full data reveals that private vehicles are split into single and multiple occupancy. Bikes however aren't so the multiple occupancy bike (occupied child seat) that passed me was counted only once.

Here's a much more persuasive PsyOp on behalf of a major corporation. Indeed we are bombarded with such 'information' all the time. Cycle campaigners have to try and counter the tide of pro-motoring propaganda in whatever small ways they can. This is just a particularly memorable and manipulative example:
