Bike Thieves - George Square, Edinburgh.
I don't normally post this kind of stuff, but I think it's best that as many people as possible know about this.
About 2pm today, I was in George Square, when I noticed a group of three young males cycling around the Main Library and George Square Gardens area. They went around the gardens a few times, so as not to arouse suspicion.
Each time they came back, however, hoodies up and holding a black holdall, they approached a number of bikes and looked around them, inspecting for locks and attachments.
There is no doubt in my mind that these guys were out to steal, so make sure that when you come to Uni with your bike, you lock it properly.
I reported this to Police immediately, and although no crime was committed, it's important we stay vigilant and make sure we don't fall victim to these kind of things.
