I looked at his time line and thought to myself he must do lots of business because he sure isn't using Twitter to market himself... Plonker.

He certainly talks like a big man, which is unwise if one is not but is nonetheless going to post pictures of oneself.

Took a dump this morning that had more muscle in it than him.

This is quite an interesting analysis of the events.

I wonder how that effects his search rating....

I've got screen grabs of the worst stuff....

I'd put then on flickr and here, but they contravene our rules.

I just managed to read the majority of the ranting before it disappeared. In a way, it ought to be left online so his idea of self-promotion has the effect it deserves to have.

Oh, and just so we can feel personally, offended, he even replied to one person, "Cyclist. Enough said" So we know his attitude to the cycling community then!

If you're going to use social media, you need to learn that it can do more harm than good if you do it wrong. Yet some people just can't grasp that.

@steveo thanks for that link. The plumber quite unrepentant and asking for anyone to come and say things to his face. If he is called James Hogg as your link suggests that only makes it even more curious as The Confessions of a Justified Sinner is a book Hogg was the author of (though felt maybe others behind it) and the villain in that book remains an unrepentant villain

Also hello ruggtomcat, do you not come around here much anymore?

  11. Nicola Dougan took to Twitter today to thank everyone for their kind words of suppoert, and said that what happened was actually much worse than she'd mentioned in her Tweet. The Police are now dealing with it, apparently - though he's now claiming his account was hacked (surprise surprise!!).

    A real charmer!

Nicola said she and her husband were then verbally abused. She said: “He called us f*****s and m****s and there was a whole lot of swearing involved. Completely inappropriate in a Lidl car park where children were present. Also said we were now on his ‘hit list’ having stopped and taken a good look at my car.”

Was his actual body hacked too then? Aliens?

Not sure how he is a "victim of twitter". Only of himself.

"He said he had overtaken a “dangerously slow moving” vehicle “going about five miles an hour” ."

"Dangerously slow moving" - on Dalry Road/Lidl car park ?!!! (article isn't too clear)

And even at that speed he still managed to (allegedly) almost hit it.

A "friend" hacked his account. The modern day equivalent of "the dog ate my homework" or "a big boy did it and ran away"

@cb best not to think too much about it.

  17. cb - at one point during his Saturday Twitter meltdown he claimed it was short for 'Mongolians', as he didn't like the good people of Mongolia driving on our roads!

    Interesting....

she's now said on twitter that they were slow on pulling away from lights so as to callow cyclist in front to pull away and past parked cars.

(the plumber claimed they were 'dangerously slow')

That'd be about right - we all know anything cyclist-shaped must be passed at all costs... [/ sarcasm]

  20. Excellent comment (no sarcasm):

Better change your locks too James, someone's pointed out that your hacked (how come picking up someone's phone now constitutes 'hacking'?) phone was sending tweets with the geographical location tags saying it was at your company address!

Looks like that'mate' maybe stole your house keys too?

"Mr Hogg explained: “I’m not very good at this Facebook and Twitter thing.”"

Perhaps you shouldn't have set it up then?

His Twitter page is back up and he now says he picked up the wrong phone after a party on Friday night and his 'friends' were sending the tweets as a joke! Still no explanation as to why they were logged from his home address or about the confrontation re the driving the next day.

Arrange these words.....hole digging big stop

Oh, and if those were my mates they wouldn't be any longer!
