    Gembo, it happens a lot in the continent, and does help keep juggernauts off the streets.

    That said, i agree that hgv drivers are generally better than wee truck/van man.

    The other problem with an HGV ban is that the really lethal lorries in London at least are the tipper trucks - and I don't think replacing them with vans is a goer...

    re aggression, I did wonder if it was assertion. Of course it helps to be assertive, make eye contacts, etc. Maybe symantics.

    No to aggression every time. It must be the last thing people need more of on the roads.

    Of course, theres a difference between being aggressive in a car vs aggressive on a bike, but wherever its displayed against other road users / peds its only going to piss them off and add fuel to the fire.
