I suggest "Stop parking like a w**ker".
Or even "I park like a w**ker".
Stuck on with that really tricky to remove glue, on the windscreen where the tax disc used to go.

When I cycled by yesterday lunchtime there was a council van and two cars parked in it, then another van arrived, and as I picked my way past one of the workers did at least point out to his colleague that he'd just blocked the lane.
Passing again in the evening in a taxi and there were big barriers around it. Will be interesting to see if it gets parked in when it's officially open.
As an aside I know we're used to roads being closed, and driving diversions to be signposted, and not for bikes, but there seems a certain irony to that situation when it's closed to improve bike access and use, and the road in question can ONLY be cut through by cyclists and is signed national route 1.

Actually I was thinking 'this guy looks a bit confused, looks like he's going to go on the cycle lane on 'wrong' side of road -
But ACTUALLY he must have been thinking 'those barriers weren't here earlier'!

You couldn't make it up. Just been to take a look at the cycle track, only to find it ripped up. One of the guys said it was because they'd put white chips on the surface and they should be red!

And they're installing the wrong kind of tactile paving on the funny little ped and cycle segregated path bit between Rankeillor St and the Toucan to get across St Leonard's St. (Corduroy type rather than Tramline) Anyone know who to report this to?

Why are they putting tactile paving on a cycle route anyway? No where else in Europe does this, its just a stupid waste of money.

@Kim personally I agree but that's what they do in Edinburgh to indicate which side of a segregated path is for bikes and which for pedestrians, and they always put down the wrong stuff; viz NMW, Leith Links path.

Where is the site agent for this project when all this work is being carried out not to the specification provided?
Is there a problem in how the drawings are presented?
Or should we be trans-quoting Micheal O Leary "What is it about a simple specification that you don't understand?"

Has anyone noticed that the stopping lines in the street are in the wrong place? Hope they will fix this before opening this section.

The wrong tactiles were specified at this location (3 places) and will be corrected - not a problem anywhere else on scheme.
New Street Design Guidance will include factsheet on how to lay these for cycleways.
Tactiles are used on cycleways all over the UK - Glasgow, London, etc.
Stop line is the old one - will be moved before new lights are switched on.
