Such an odd phenomenon. The storm from the sun did hit and was big, but for whatever reason just didn't trigger the aurora in the way people thought.

I didn't see anything last night either. At 3.30am it had clouded over, and at 5.30am the clouds had moved on but there was still nothing - though my view was south.
Spaceweather says that the impact was weaker than expected.
They do link a photo from Tromsø that is to die for though...
I do wish the collaborative project we have with the University there could develop a fault, as I'm the support person...
