I noticed when out for a run last night that work is being done to the stretch of the Water of Leith path between Gorgie Road and Ford's Road. The surface has been stripped off and the path made much wider (not on the bit that was already tarmac). I assume some sort of surface will be going down, as at the moment it is very rough and muddy. I saw no notices about what is happening (though it was dark). My boyfriend, who also runs through there a lot, says it was done last week sometime.
I think some people on here use that section, I thought people might be interested.
