Folk may be aware that the new LiDL "metropolitan" store opened on Easter Road last week.
I've visited on foot and by bike (cargotastic Pashley Pronto for heavier loads). Store seems bigger than the one at New Kirkgate. So far it is we'll stocked too despite being quite busy: Leith store always seems to be running out of various items. Decent bike parking, good pedestrian access, not much to complain about. Cycling on Easter Road still not very pleasant but can't see that changing anytime soon. Some folk don't like the aesthetics of the building design but I don't mind it at all.
Worth checking out if you're wheeling or strolling in the area...
