on behalf of an ERC rider colleague at work ,

finally it happened to me too - my bicycle farm has been massively reduced in numbers.

today, 24.03.2014, between 16.20-18.20, someone broke into a bikeshed in Drybrough Crescent/Peffer Bank area in Craigmillar, cut through locks and left with two of my bikes. anyone pointing me towards the bikes and/or thieves will be rewarded.

Bike 1. Ridley X-Ride cyclocross bike with disc brakes, in 2013 colors, ie. white with rainbow stripes and black Ridley markings, Shimano 105 components. it was size XL, original wheels, full mudguards and Vittoria Randonneur tyres, original crankset was replaced with Shimano XC-70 and it had Eggbeater pedals. extra features were - Lezyne front light mount, Cateye rear light, white Lezyne pump with its mount on the seat tube, black bottle cage, black saddle bag. mudguards were attached to brake mounts (custom job) and fixed using cable-ties. stock photo of frame colours is at http://www.wigglestatic.com/product-media/5360076936/X-Ride-1203A-105-2013-2685-0101.jpg?w=2000&h=2000&a=7, mine was the same except for disc brakes.

Bike 2. Planet X Franko Bianco Pro Carbon track bike, white in color, size XL. it had Deda Pista 31 OS (Track) Handlebars 42cm with white bar tape, original crankset was replaced for a black Shimano 105 with a black Stronglight Zicral 48t chainring, Speedplay Zero track pedal. special features - there was no left crank arm attached so bike is completely unusable as it stands. original Planet X aluminum wheels with tubs glued on. stock photo of the frame is at http://www.planetx.co.uk/imgs/products/px/950_constW/CBPXPCTB_P1.jpg

any information about bikes/their sightings/thieves etc can be sent 24h to my mobile 07980324412 or to the police, information leading to the recovery of bikes and/or catching thieves will be rewarded.
