Was walking north down Morningside Road yesterday and noticed a couple of cyclists (one male, one female) heading down the road in the same direction. There was a kid on a childseat on the man's bike - that's what made me notice them as the childseat was bobbing up and down quite a lot. I guess they're meant to do this although it did seem a bit excessive.

Further on I saw a 4x4 stopped just inside the mouth of Hermitage Terrace. At first I thought it was (very) badly parked but then spotted that the drivers door was open and the driver was over on the pavement with the two cyclists.
He seemed to be giving them a good telling off, and, trying not to be /too/ nosey as I passed. all I picked up on was "that's why you should stay on the road" and "especially with a child on the back".

The cyclists were being very quiet and sheepish. I wonder what happenend? Anyone else see this?
