The winner today is the Edinburgh Marathon for keeping the Seafield behind the garages and Portobello prom open to bikes with all the runners coming through. The group of ladies on Bromptons trying to wind through the elite runners looked very confused.
Likewise we got waved through some of the road closures following the route out on our way to Dunbar and also on the way back. On the way out it was then a pain to cross the race route but very glad on the way back given the torrential rain. Seemed like they were missing a few signs too with cars heading on to the route from side roads
