Did we go to Peter's Yard in June?
Should we go there soon? Hopefully on a nice morning when we can sit outside...
For those new to the forum, this is the Peter's Yard just off the Meadows. You are very welcom to come along. We don't bite :-)
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

25th? Might be a possible for me :-) ages since I've been up!
We did go to PY in June, algo, Gembo, SRD-o, roibeard-o and morningsider-o
25th July fine by me
25 works for me. Will have to rise earlier than usual as I will no longer just be rolling down MMW but will have to come up the hill through the Park.
What time?
Statutory reminder -
For newcomers (ALL welcome) -
"Normally from 7.30 to 8.30 for most folk."
Some people hang on past nine.
In the past there have been 'two sittings' - 'early people' and 'after about half eight' (obviously with overlaps).
Just a reminder -
25th July
Pop by any time between 7:30 and 9:00(ish)
This Friday.
You doctor?
I have requested this.
Noted.
Outside then(?)
If it's anything like as hot as it was this morning then yes, but in the shade.
Ought to make it.
Got a train at 10 so might head out on a bit of a blast REALLY early doors then head along for 8am for a coffee to finish it off. See some of you there.
Drat, I think I will be taking the Big Bike to work. Maybe I will be lazy and come to PY instead. (Or I could come to PY with the Big Bike, and take the long way home. Hmmm)
Tomorrow.
Hope there's no haar...
Mmmm. Lovely refreshing cool haar.
oooh I may be able to make it. You may see me on my old Specialised, with Panniers and a big rucksack. Hopefully around 8:30....
Looking hot out of doors. Should be there about 07.59 but will anyone else be up and at 'em?
En route now :-) misty here and the run down to the station caused ice cream head! Should be good once the mist burns off though. Eta a little after 0730 I'd guess :-)
Just getting dressed. Har thick up Juniper Green way, but hopefully that means less of a sweat on!
Lanark Road strava times will be getting smashed shortly then :-)) (well known scientific fact, bikes travel faster en route to a nice coffee and cake ;-))
A lovely lazy start to a Friday :-) thanks all for the pleasant company.
Decided to big bike it to work. Was regretting it in Juniper Green as the fog was evil. I was worried about the upper road past the airfield; but by the time I got to Balerno I'd climbed above the fog. Dropped back into it on the way past Kirknewton, but it wasn't quite so thick there.
As ever, fine cakes and company.
@uberuce thanks for keeping my bike safe!
Nice to put some faces to names, and names to names.
I would have stayed longer but I had to go to work
You should nominate PY as one of your hotdesks.
(Would help if they had wifi!)
Likewise, this work business is a curse, I'm far better cut out for a life of idle wealth!
