So you need to access the tram/railway with your vans & a bunch of workies. But the chicane gates at Balgreen are locked shut & you don't have the key/code. What do you do?
Simples.
You drive the vans to Carrick Knowe golf club car park, drive up the ramp leading to the Pinkhill path, whilst cutting across the corner of the path to ensure lots of mud is churned up, breaking the edges of the path as you go, then you drive along the path, stopping and waving nicely at any cyclists you may pass. Jobs a good'un.
Ah, you've gotta love the law of unintended consequences.
