I'm a Project Co-ordinator at the Himalayan Centre for Arts & Culture in Leith. I'm writing to you regarding the project I'm currently working on because I think it might interest people who use the City Cycling Edinburgh forum.
The project consists of free weekly sessions aimed at helping people reduce their environmental impact. The gatherings will provide people with support and opportunities to think about what it means to be environmentally aware and the complexities and practicalities this implies. We believe that we can get a true sense of how each of us can contribute to a healthier, happier and greener community by exploring environmental approaches and sharing our experiences, hopes and questions in a non-judgemental environment.
There’s a specific session on Travel and Transport I think might be of interest to people that use the forum. It’ll be held on Wednesday 26th of November.
