THE leader of the Capital’s SNP group, Steve Cardownie, has stood down during a special meeting of party members taking place in the Capital.
Cllr Cardownie, SNP member for Forth, has taken the step in order to spend more time with his family.
He will be replaced by Sandy Howat, who represents Meadows/Morningside.
