A not-for-profit social enterprise called HERE+NOW that aims to engage people in their local places are organising a local community event called PEP Talks on Friday 24 April from 6.15-8pm at The Yard in Canonmills, with speakers talking from the old railway tunnel and cycle route nearby.
The idea of the PEP Talk event next Friday is to bring as many local people together from the Canonmills area (and further afield) for an evening of inspiring speakers and chat about the potential for new projects, events, activities or better use of spaces/walking/cycle routes in the Canonmills area. We are doing this in partnership with the Yard, and will be holding the event starting in the Yard then moving out to the nearby tunnel where there will be speakers, live artists painting, followed by refreshments and discussion back at the Yard afterwards.
