I recall Mrs DD mentioning the annoying roadworks on Cramond Road South near Tesco some time ago but only just realised that the works are to realign the junction and move the toucan crossing. I trust that this is to reduce the potential for conflict between pedestrians and cyclists created by the metal fencing forcing you to cycle tight to a blind corner and then sit blocking the pavement whilst you wait for the lights to change however I am struggling to find any plans online. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I note that they have provided a pedestrian crossing whilst they carry out the work but no lighting phase for the cyclists heading out of the city on NCN1!
